Life is a journey that’s homeward bound.
— Herman Melville

Do we ever arrive?

My work is about bringing people home.

The process is deeply personal, sometimes intense, always unique. It is a deep privilege to be chosen as the Sherpa for this journey . . . reading the weather, choosing the path, securing provisions, ensuring the safety of the party for the duration.

Coming home is a sacred journey that leads me to continually consider home, not just as a physical place, but as an emotional, spiritual, psychological concept. What is home, literally and metaphorically? What are we supposed to be learning as we travel? Who are we in the process of becoming? Where is this journey taking us?

This blog is about our journey.
